These are to be registered with the Patent Office.
Duration: Registration is valid for 5 years from the date of filing an application
and renewable for 2 times of 5 years each time.
Registration, assignment and cancellation of designs and industrial models are
published in the Official Gazette.
Required documents :
1) Legalised Power of Attorney
2) Legalised Certificate of Incorporation.
3) Two representations.
4) Description of the design of model.
5) Priority document if priority to be claimed.
Assignment :
Documents required:-
1) Legalised Power of Attorney.
2) Legalised Deed of Assignment signed by both parties.
3) Legalised Certificate of Incorporation.
License :
Documents required:-
1) Legalised Power of Attorney.
2) Legalised License Agreement.
3) Legalised Certificate of Incorporation.
Change of Name or Address :
Documents required:-
1) Legalised Power of Attorney.
2) Legalised Certificate of Change of Name or Address.
